And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”Matthew 22:37-39 Mission Statement “Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, “Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked and ye clothed me: I was sick and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.” Matthew 25:34-37 Jesus reminds them that inasmuch as ye have cared for, served, loved the least among you, you have cared for, served, and loved me. St. Paul’s deacons are to personify Christian love: Worship God in spirit and truth; pray for wisdom; support the Pastor and his vision for a loving church; assist the Pastor with the two ordinances of the church – Baptism and Communion; edify the saints in your assigned ministry and every other church ministry; visit the sick and shut-ins, and administer the benevolence funds of the church responsibly; encourage youth and set a Christian example before them; tithe to the church one’s time, talent and substance; winning souls for Christ at home, on the job, and in the wider community; and grown spiritually, always striving to glorify God. Deaconess Ministry

Couple’s Ministry

Vision:
Eph 5:21-25 Our Vision is to be Married Couples, bound together by Love, in the Fear of the Lord, striving for Christian Unity and Fellowship, and to be examples for couples in our church and community.

Mission: Our Mission is to provide several biblical teachings of Marriage as in Gen.2:18, 22-24 and Matt. 19:5-6, The Union and Commitment of Man and Woman being confirmed by God. Also, sharing ideas with the future generation by having Couples interact in role play and
Conflict resolution sessions. The Ministry will then be able to explore more exciting ways to
show marriage as anenjoyable time for young men and women going through t heir difficult
seasons in life. Whilegainingstrength fromeach other we will be building a firm foundation for
the future leaders of theCouples Ministry.

Purpose: Romans 1: 8-12 King James The purpose of the Couples Ministry is to provide married couples with a place where they can express their concerns, problems and share experiences with one another with hopes of creating stronger Marital relationships along with the Spiritual guidance of God. Children’s Ministry

Scripture “Even a child is known by their conduct by whether their actions are pure and right.” Proverbs 20:11 Mission Statement The mission of the Children’s Ministry is to provide a safe Christian environment to open the hearts and minds of children to explore the various ways to maintain a relationship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Through age-appropriate preaching, teaching, prayer, and praise, the children will be equipped to articulate and demonstrate the love of God to their family and their friends. Back to Directory

Security Helps Ministry

dangerous for anyone within the church. We will greet, assist, and help direct people; and we will help in cases of emergencies,always being vigilant.

Transportation Ministry

Mission Statement We plan to continue to provide safe and courteous service to our Members on a weekly basis, to and from Worship Service.We also will continue to provide Service for special church services whenever possible, limited by manpower issues, weather and the availability of the Mini Bus, to and from St. Paul’s,and to other venues in support of the Pastor’s speaking engagements. It is to also assume primary responsibility for the church’s financial affairs as required by the State and Federal laws through proper documentation, i.e. ledgers, financial reports, journals and budget proposals.

Nursery Ministry

Mission Statement

The mission of this ministry is to provide a place for parents of young children to work together to provide a loving environment during church services. The Nursery Ministry is to build a foundation for young children to hear the Word of God. The Nursery is also a place for the parents to collaborate on the needs of their children.

Mission Statement

To continue being servants in the church, as we introduce and welcome visitors. As doorkeepers, we will continue to be good Christians who profess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior through our service as doorkeepers. We will exercise much care in receiving guests in our church, and greet visitors with a sober mind, a pleasant smile and a kind word, as we always seek to refrain from frowning when others display negative dispositions.
